Going Downhill I used to like Cracker Barrel for a back to the past meal. We have eaten at this one twice, because it's good for kids. Once I had fish, once chicken. The fish was dry, the chicken not very tasty. The sides are still good. And I'm tired of the concept of walking through a giant gift shop to eat....
So So The service was much better than usual but the coffee and the blueberry muffin were bland. Muffin wasn't even heated and the coffee barely tasted like coffee.
How can you mess up a salad Hoping to stop for a relatively quick lunch that wasn't fast food, we stopped at this restaurant. My hubby ordered one of their breakfast specialties and I ordered a salad and baked potato. 35 minutes later, our food was finally delivered. Hubby's gravy had a film on it so it had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp. My "loaded"...
So so.,.. I;ve been to a few different Cracker Barrels, this one is "so so". The foods not bad, I really like the chicken dumplings. The service leaves much to be desired.
