Everything was super cold, which to some degree is expected with delivery. But the size of the containers were massive compared to the food inside , so the heat escaped much quicker plus everything slid around in them so much it was just mush. I bought two confetti pancake kids meals for my 2 and 4 yo (they are not big kids either) and the pancakes were so tiny they both asked for more and could have eaten at least two kids meals each. The delivery was great, but the food was horrible. The biscuits were like rocks. And not because they were cold. They were still warm, but they were so hard. They were inedible. The tenders were super dry, and the mashed potatoes were so dense, I couldn't even stir the gravy in. I don't know if this is how the tenders and mashed potatoes usually are, but this can't be the intention for the biscuits. I've never eaten at Cracker Barrel before, and I probably won't again.
forgot the strawberry and whipped cream on both orders. pancakes were poor with little cheesecake filling.
The portion sizes were very small.
Got Momma's French Toast. It was okay. Not sure what the sausage patties were made of (mix of pork and bacon?), but it had an odd taste, and very salty.
chicken pot pie was broken up & soggy, chicken salad is way over-priced for amount you get. Everything was bland except for bowl of pintos & those didn't come with onion or relish like described. Extremely over priced for small amounts of bland food!
Biscuits, mini cheeseburgers, and pancakes were burnt black.
My husband got country fried steak, I got sugar-cured ham. We both chose green beans and mashed potatoes with country gravy. The only decent part of the meals were the green beans. Both the steak and the ham were tough and dry, and part of the ham was burnt. The mashed potatoes had no gravy, and had chunks of raw potato. Unpleasant, and won't order from here again.
Missing two items, only half of normal portion, and food cold. Such a disappointment.
