The food is good. My favorite is the hash brown casserole. However, my extra hashbrown casserole for the second time, was left out. But the store gave me credit.
The potato casserole is my favorite.
Think we got shorted. Used to get double this size of dumplings. :(
The Homestyle Chicken is my new favorite meal. Enough to fill you up and delicious. Highly recommend it.
Bacon and sausage was both to hard. pancake s and eggs were ok. hash browns were ok.
Getting what you order is a 50 percent proposition. What items they had were delivered on time, still warm. I tried the chicken fried steak breakfast a few days ago. It was really good so I tried the chicken fried chicken version today with grits. It was okay...not going to repeat it. No gravy which affected the entire meal. Since I eat once a day, kind of has a domino affect. On the same order, Cracker Barrel didn't have coffee either. Two strikes on the same order...not a good average.
Overall the food was delicious just the pancakes tasted like what had been cooked before.
Grandpa's country was satisfying. I thought it was weird I couldn't order just the biscuits on gravy a la cart but noticed it comes in meal. gravy was good too, whoever was on shift cooking when I ordered did good.
Tasted good. Didn't like the sausage though.
