My scrabble eggs had egg shells in it. I took 3 bites and all 3 had shells in them. Country Fried Steak came with no Gravy on it or on the side. Also how does one order Biscuit n Gravy and only receive biscuits.
The food was not the same quality as usual and the portions were a lot smaller yet the cost was more. Aside from the fact that our dasher got lost and drove in circles tying to deliver an order before ours so ours was late and cold.
While I'm normally a fan of Cracker Barrel, the Southern Fried Chicken was mostly crust, with a very dry chicken breast, the mashed potatoes were cold and there were no napkins, silverware or butter included for biscuits. The carrots were good but also cold. I picked up the order not long after placing it so it should have been warm at the very least. Not a great takeout experience.
The shrimp was terrible. It was rubbery and overcooked also very small with thick breading. Everything else was wonderful.
Four of our pancakes were missing and we didn't even receive syrup for the pancakes we did get but did receive about 20 butters? The pie slices were $7 each and they weren't even full slices of pie cut off from the middle. The apple pie was disappointing because it was basically the fried apples inside a pie crust so the pie had apple skins in it and huge slices of apple.
Chicken pot pie was awful. Nothing like picture. Just slopped into a container. Meatloaf was good at least
absolutely the worst fried chicken I have ever had. it's like it was refried from previous days. I could not eat it.
rib tips were awful. tiny chunks of chewy fat. missing gravy, condiments and plastic ware. small portions compared to dining in.
Not good at all. Taste is bad, portion size was child like. The slice of bread was barely larger than a head of a fork. Wish I could add photos.
