The cake was a smushed mess with no layers. It was not a double slice of cake. Not even a single.

Southern Fried Chicken was so over cooked we literally couldn't eat it. It took our dogs 20 minutes to eat the jerky like consistency of the breast meat. It might have been good if it hadn't been so horribly overcooked. I ordered 2 half gallon jugs of Sugar Plum Tea (Half Gallon) , and what I got was 2 large cups. After removing the ice, both cups did not even come to 1 half gallon. Considering this is a limited seasonal item I was greatly disappointed the packer messed this up so badly. Overall we enjoy the meals from Cracker Barrel and the food has been fresh. However, the biscuits are not good, and the cornbread muffins are truly horrible - always nearly burnt and hard as a rock, with terrible flavor. It would be so nice if Cracker Barrel could make these items better, and also offer a nice, ordinary dinner roll as another option.
I always order extra gravy. I pay for extra gravy. I even simplify the order by getting the same meal for all of us. but I never get my extra gravy. nomatter how much I simplify my order, it's usually wrong. they don't seem to care
New York Strip Steak was very tough. could not even eat it. Hashbrown casserole was very salty and the carrots were mush. We always enjoy eating here just disappointed on this meal. Food is not cheap these days.
The fish was bad and the Biscuit Beignets didn't have powdered sugar
I ordered eggs over medium and they were so hard that when I dropped one on the plate, it bounced.
