First time trying the Hashbrown Casserole Shepherd's Pie and it was delicious! The Loaded Baked Sweet Potato was amazing as always. The Hashbrown Casserole Tots were great, but I do wish more was included for the price.
The hashbrown casserole tots were not very good they tasted like dirty fryer oil,
I was disappointed at the portion of mashed potatoes and expected more from them being "loaded". Catfish was okay and the fried okra was really good.
I ordered the bacon and egg hash brown casserole breakfast... It was delicious but there was NO BACON... Shame because I love cracker barrel bacon
Cracker Barrell is normally 1 of my favorite places, but it seems something has changed. The dumplings didn't taste the same this time. Typically they have more chicken and "gravy"(I don't know what else to call it) in the dumplings. This time they just tasted different and more bland. The grilled chicken kids' meal had 3 tiny pieces of chicken about the size of chicken nuggets. Apples were good, but that didn't make up for the rest of our meals. Disappointed.
Pinto beans were dry and they did not send the corn salsa or the fresh onion with them
Southern Fried Chicken is fantastic, pinto beans and baked sweet potato. yummy.
the fish, mashed potatoes and dumplings were very good. but, they forgot the cornbread.
So, for starters, the food was amazing. My Dasher delivered everything on time. (Not that efficiency is what I look for) lol. But Cracker Barrel hooked me up as My Momma's French Toast Breakfast® came with 4 extra pieces of French toast! That is not something I expected. The Iced Caramel Latte was fantastic as well.
