The portion size is a bit disappointing for the price but the food is tasty.
The Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken is amazing. For my order the sides come separately with different containers so there is no mess. 4 FULL Bacon strips on top. I also ordered mine with Hash Brown Casserole is amazing and might I add... its definitely rub your tummy good, possibly unbutton your pants perfection.
no gravy for Country Fried Steak and Cornbread Muffins (4) were hard and were not fresh, ranch didn't taste like ranch for my salad
Steak way-over cooked. I ordered med rare it was well well done. Not even close. All vegetables were great.
I tried the Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast , and I was really disappointed. The Country Fried Steak was...Meh. The steak looked very processed, like it was made elsewhere, and Cracker Barrel just puts it in the fryer. The breading was paper thin, and the steak was also very thin. The steak did have a good texture, though.
order was mixed up, mashed potatoes were hard as a rock.
I order a steak medium rare. It can so well done it wasn't edible. The cornbread and the rolls eerevery good however. My wife liked the chicken and dumplings and the salad was first rate
Meat loaf was burnt Tasted burnt also
chicken and dumplings were delicious. I didn't like the hash brown casserole. it was cold and I didn't like the taste.
