Good food but small portions It seems that prices are going up and portions are going down. If you complain the manager will bring another portion, but who wants to go out to eat and complain?
Love me some Cracker Barrel I love this restaurant and was especially pleased with my waitress during our visit. I had just had surgery and was unable to eat much and my waitress allowed me to order off the kids menu. Not many places allow this so THANK YOU.
Great breakfast I often meet people here for a business breakfast because the food is excellent, the service is super and no one listens to your conversation because they're having their own. The "Old Timer's Special" is hard to beat for under $9. Too much food to eat, but I always try.
food great, server not Love Cracker Barrel, except this one. Waited 50 minutes before our salad and biscuits came. Told a few times by server that kitchen was backed up. But tables seated after us were served before us. Server was not too attentive.when brought to manager's attention was told server was always like that. That was not an acceptable response.
Wife loved her food On Mother's Day, this place was packed, as one might expect. My wife asked me to swing by and pick up some take out she ordered. Breakfast The food was hot and make well, although not quite how I ordered it (I requested certain items be left off, they were brought to the table anyways, I suppose I can't be too upset by this). We were seated immediately at 11 am on a Sunday, and the staff was pleasant. Good location near the highway and our hotel.
Good Ol country cooking I love this location because I always leave full (I'm a large guy) and my wallet is still okay. Can't beat it for the money and the turnip greens (while $5 a bowl) are excellent. A little understaffed on servers, but the majority are very nice. Breakfast is great and large portions
Good homestyle food Food was what you'd expect from a Cracker Barrel , both my wife and I had the chicken and dumplings and they were great. Service was excellent.
