Update: Within a day of my posting the negative review, I received a reply from CB Corporate with an apology and a gift card. Thank you for the quick response and the card. I’ll return. Disappointing visit…Took my 98-year old WWII veteran friend out for lunch. The atmosphere at Cracker Barrel is always nicely “Americana” with its memorabilia of our country a hundred years ago. We had dinner at the Belton MO location and I would just like to give our server Ryan a shout out! He was quick, attentive, patient with our grandson and we really enjoyed his positive attitude. The food was great, and the service that will keep us coming back!
We normally like eating at Cracker Barrel. However, this visit was not as positive. After ordering our food, it took 40 minutes for us to receive our meal. After being asked if we needed anything, we responded that we needed syrup for the pancakes. The server came again still no syrup. So we asked for fresh hot pancakes and syrup. In addition, refill our beverages. Another 20 minutes later, we had pancakes. The manager was very understanding and accommodating.

Cracker barrel is my favorite place to eat. The food is always good, service is impeccable. The servers always make sure you are well taken care of. And of course I love shopping in the store for unique gifts. And it just got better, join their new rewards program.
