Update: Within a day of my posting the negative review, I received a reply from CB Corporate with an apology and a gift card. Thank you for the quick response and the card. I’ll return. Disappointing visit…Took my 98-year old WWII veteran friend out for lunch. The atmosphere at Cracker Barrel is always nicely “Americana” with its memorabilia of our country a hundred years ago. I have only been to Cracker Barrel twice ever. Tonight was my second time trying it. I went around 445p so it was not super busy. I was seated for 8 minutes before even being greeted. 20 minutes later, I had to ask a server, not mine, for a drink and to speak with a manager. My food came out before I got my drink. I got the meatloaf which was incredibly dry, mashed potatoes which were a thick clay like substance, and green beans. The green beans were the only thing that was good. This Cracker Barrel is 2 miles from our house. I had the hamburger steak smothered and it was great. Wifey had the ham steak, also very tasty. Update: w April 25 ham steak is no longer on the menu, wifey is very sad. Good news, country fried steaks were very good.
Myself and my sister had dinner at this location today. I’ve never been to this location and I will never go back. First the young man that seated us put us in the corner when there was only about 8 to 10 people in the restaurant. I ask could we sit by the window. He moved us.
