I have never complainedabout their food.BUT it was horrable tonight.Greensere too dry tasting,mac n cheese sauce were pretty soupy like. chicken n dumplingswere ok.i will never eat at that llocation again.only thing good was. the biscuit and cornbread.
food was cold and all the sausage was supposed to be smoked sausage but we got turkey sausage instead. the hash brown casserole was disappointing, eggs were dry.
Eggs over done, no biscuits
I ordered the half fried chicken with mashed potatoes withSawmill gravy..greens beans. Chicken was awful unevenly coated..fried so hard it was dry..potaoes were so thick I had a hard time swallowing them..greens beans had no seasoning at all..food is usually good from the St. Charles location..wasted my money this time..
I usually order the Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast and have for years. The last few times I've gotten it delivered, it's been super low portions and poorly done. Eggs are a mess. Biscuits weren't cooked all the way through. The hashbrown casserole was about 1/4 of the portion from usual and tasted like apples and cinnamon. The chicken fried chicken was ok. The overall quality of this location's food has seriously eroded over the years.
Ordered Chicken Fried Chicken with sawmill gravy. The sawmill gravy was missing. The chicken pieces were about 40% smaller! And the biscuits were burnt! Very, very disappointed.
Burnt to a crisp. Cannot cut open at all. It is as hard as a rock.
No seasoning. dumplins bland. Mashed potatoes need sslt an pepper bad. taste like instant. been awhile since had cracker barrel. but not as good as use to be
Chicken & Dumplings The dumplings were good however the chicken was way too overcooked and tough to chew. The cinnamon apples tasted old and the skin that was left on the apples made it hard to eat as it felt like chewing plastic. The portion size was good and I would order the dumplings again without the chicken.
