We sure love a trip to Cracker Barrel. It’s always a good experience at our store in Richmond, Indiana. It was Sunday morning so there was a short wait time. This gave us time to browse the store & find some early Christmas presents. Always love to see their Christmas decorations & check out the new themes each year. This was a great Cracker Barrel! The server was amazing! She was super friendly and very attentive . The manager was great, too. He welcomed me as I asked about overnight parking.
Food was fantastic, like always. It had been quite some time since we've been there. The wait on food was a little longer than usual, but I contribute it to being short staffed. That being said it was still great. Our server Mary was amazing and super sweet as we were waiting for our food. She kept apologizing for the wait and my husband and I kept telling her it was no problem. Sometimes things just happen and you can only do so much. Was still a great experience overall.
It was a good 1/2 hour after we placed our order before we got our food. Everyone around us that didn't already have their food was like us just waiting. We were not advised that there was a problem getting out the orders. We did not receive any bread while we were waiting. An explanation to your customers about what was going on would have been a good idea. Had we been advised that there was a problem in the kitchen we would have had the choice of staying or leaving. Was very disappointed in Cracker Barrel management.
Cracker Barrel never disappoints! The food was delicious. It was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. Everything tasted homemade, from the perfectly cooked biscuits to the hearty entrees. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better.
