Cracker Barrel...always very good Crowded as usual like any other Cracker Barrel. After wandering around the store for about 15 minutes we were seated. I ordered the apple cider BBQ chicken breast with a baked sweet potato. Food was very good, server was polite and refilled our drinks quickly. No complaints.
Decent food in a family friendly setting We stopped in for a quick dinner while visiting Mammoth Caves. We both had salads, and they were decent - not amazing, not terrible. For anyone from British Columbia, this is the White Spot of the South.
Great Restaurant Cracker Barrell has great food that tastes like Mama used to make. Loved the chicken and dumplings (tastes like homemade noodles) plus prime rib French dip. Quaint shop. Right next to Comfort Inn and Suites. Only 17 miles from Mammoth Cave but allow 40 min drive due to speed limits.
Mammoth Cave trip Enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the way home from camping trip. The staff was friendly and kept coffee cup and glasses full.
Always a good choice This is a restaurant where there is always good food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is usually friendly, the place is clean, and crowded most of the time. When traveling, I feel safe when I find a Cracker Barrell. My grandchildren loved it.
Never disappointed There is not a cracker barrell that is bad. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious as usual
Sold We went right before noon on Monday and the place quickly filled up, 5 of us with 2 kids under 7 and we all found something tasty. I had the $6 chicken special which was very tender and had good dressing on the side. Our waitress was great, very helpful and attentive. I'd go back again for sure.
Breakfast 8-9-2015 had a very good waitress and the food was good will stop by again when we visit that area.the waitress tryed to get me to try ocra which i did it wasnt good but not my type of thing others might like it just not me. she did replace it with something i did like though )
Cracker Barrel Accommodating staff for a large party. Good service, good food. A safe choice when travelling. Bought a few Christmas presents while waiting. Bonus.
