ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE First, I ordered 2 rocking chairs from Cracker Barrel website over the weekend. Worst food at Salisbury NC Cracker Barrel. I was very hungry for home cook food for a change and decided to stop in Salisbury Cracker Barrel. I always order the Chicken Fried Chicken with extra saw mill gravy for my biscuits. The food was terrible. Biscuits were hard and cold. (didn't eat) Chicken Fried Chicken too cold and seemed to have been left over stuck in microwave but it was not hot like just being cooked. Cracker Barrel does not stand behind the products they sell... in particular their rocking chairs. I purchased 5 poly wood rocking chairs from the Greenwood location. Within 3 weeks one of the backs broke on one of the chairs...I attempted to return the chair for an exchange or refund, but they were unable to lookup my transaction history and were unwilling to assist the day of the attempted return. I have ordered online from Cracker Barrell and it seems like it took order but never gives you a pickup time or confirmation, you just know something has gone wrong. Then you go in they cannot help you because they do not have order and they give you the Lebanon, TN phone number which you can never get through. So nothing is ever resolved.
Came to have lunch with my family today 8/24/2021 proceeded to check out and there were cards out for sale. I asked to purchase them and was told an employee was (holding "6 of them" for her brother) they had not been sold/paid for. How can an employee hold onto something unpaid for, for a family member to come get. Checked out at 2:30pm and left. Cashier who checked out my ticket was very rude. The manager, Mandy, was condescending and extremely rude. When she realized she was in the wrong, in an effort to make up for her behavior, she sent us coupons for entees that expired in just 6 days. Calls and messages both written and left on voice mail went unanswered to corporate. Will never give business to in Bloomington Illinois again.
Two of us visited this store back in May 2021 and we were treated unfairly. The manager refused to serve us as we were people of color. We sat for 30 mins waiting for food as other folks that arrived after us were served food. When we approached our server he advised that the manager told him to serve others first. Today May 11th my husband and I watched as Cracker Barrel kicked a disabled man and his sister out of the Valdosta GA location because he had a service animal. 1 woman claimed she was allergic. They did nothing to accommodate the disabled person or even explain to the complainer why he had a right to be there. My husband is disabled and there is no way on earth we would stand by and allow a disabled person to be abused, harassed and mistreated.
