The brown gravy tastes like salty dishwater, and the potatoes are play doh consistency. Maybe it's the play, doh, I'm tasting. Overall, I hope Cracker Barrel doesn't lower quality anymore than they have already because they either have very few cooks, or they have plenty of bad cooks. Food was tasteful and fresh, and quick , however my sausage was undercooked and the wrog type of syrup was provided.
always cold but it's fine once I heat it up . never expect your food to be warm from here. if you heat it back up in oven or air fryer it tastes just fine tho . still good the new watermelon thing is bad lol definitely not worth what I paid fir it definitely. I could only take a few drinks lol
good,but cold, needed bigger lemon wedge. trout very tasty, chef did a great job. baked potato needed to be cooked a bit longer, which I did. bout hushpuppies and fried okra, along with trout excellent. would order again.
We ordered the Chicken n' Dumplins, which we have gotten many times before, but this time the chicken was grilled and marinated. It had a very strong flavor that did not compliment the dumplings and light gravy well. I didn't see reference anywhere about the recipe changing, so I'm not sure if this is a permanent change or just a one-off. It was disappointing.
The chicken fried chicken is good there's enough for three people in one plate though. quite tasty. of
the steak and chicken were delicious the potatoes and greens in both orders were so salty we didn't eat them. we both enjoyed our steak and chicken tho. service was fast. next time we hope it won't be so salty and get a side of steak sauce and maybe some mushrooms for my steak.
always so good. cracker barrel has been a special occasion for my family for my whole life. now I just eat it all the time. hopefully, they'll never begin to degrade in quality.
The food was hot and crisy .. delicious comfort food. Wished the mashed potatoes por was more generous
