I didn't receive the Steak Fries with my order! The lid must not have been sealed properly because I had Fried Cinnamon Apples mixed with the Country Fried Steak and Okra! I don't mind savory items being mixed but not sweet and savory. I was only able to eat a portion of each item.
Ordered rare, was well done. Tough to chew, and cut, but otherwise ok.
It was horrible. It wasn't even real chicken It was rubber or something. Disgusting. The broccoli was way over cooked. I will never eat there again.
Macaroni and cheese was burnt
Only 2 honey mustard when the menu item specifically said it came with 3. Chicken "tenders" were actually dry, small chicken curls and nothing like the photo or written description. Cracker Barrel Simpsonville really missed the mark with this one. A total waste of $17.
The dumplings were raw in the middle
The orust on the chicken was inedible.So hard was like opening crab leg to get to the meat! Apples needed more cinnamon/sugar. Potaoes needed salt.
My chicken was greasy an looked as though it had been cooked for a long time! Could not eat.
I'm not one to complain about food, my chicken was so tough I couldn't eat it, looked as though it had been cooked a while! Ordered loaded mashed potatoes with out bacon got it with extra bacon on it! My husband's fish had been cooked for a while also, we order a lot from Cracker Barrel but this was really disappointing!
