Busy but efficient Their menu (southern style) is different enough from the other many restaurants in the area to make a nice chang. The place is hokey and kitschy, but the food is good and service fine.
Nice family place to eat Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite places to eat while we are traveling if we are going to eat at a change. The food was very good. They could seat us quickly and since we had a large party they kept us close together. The women enjoyed the shopping after dinner.
Best tasting CB Grilled chicken dinners and fried pork chops were perfect! Our server Deb was the nicest! Highly recommend this CB - if you're in the area, you need to go!
Nut allergy was understood My kid has the dreaded nut allergy. The child really wanted steak, made on the griddle with pecan pancakes (yuck! Who eats that anyway?) and the waitress was great. she offered to have them 'scrape the griddle' clean so the child could have her red meat fix. always good always the same at the cracker barrel, excellent, clean and polite. the food is always at your table fast and hot. never had a bad meal at any cracker barrel.
Southerner finds Happiness As a Southerner I was happy to find a Cracker Barrel beside our motel in Buffalo NY. We had been on the road for over 17 hours and it was awesome to sit down to some comfort food and sweet tea! CB tastes the same no matter where you are and that makes me SMILE!
