I suppose you come for some Americana and cheap food, but definitely not quality. We tried something different this time, the Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout ($9.99) described as two boneless spring water fillets lightly seasoned and grilled until fork tender. It was ok and pretty plain overall. The sweet potato had an unnecessar amount of brown sugar added as if it wasn't naturally sweet...
Food quality is definitely slipping I went on a Sunday morning so it was busy. I found food tasteless to the point of being totally bland. The sausage gravy was just flour and water...no hint of sausage. The eggs were undercooked and so were the biscuits. The service a excellent but the food was disappointing. There are many choices of breakfast restaurants in the area...

This is the place I had the best service over any place I've ever been. There's an old guy that waited on us. I tipped him the full amount of our bill. I think his name is Bill or Ted. You'll know him when you see him. Excellent service. The food was good, and hot too.
My fav! Always come for brunch when I'm in Buffalo! Service is awesome, food is awesome (esp the chicken fried chicken, corn muffins and the APPLE BUTTER!!!) and the store is awesome. Yeeeeeaaaah!! :)read full review »
Blah Food. I have heard other people rant and rave about how great Cracker Barrel is when they eat there on business trips. Since there is one locally, I figured I'd give it a try.
Good dessert.. Went here specifically for a late dessert, I had my eye on the blackberry cobbler. I have to admit I was not happy with my wait time, someone was supposed to greet me to a table and it almost seemed like they were ignoring me. I had to go contact someone to get their attention, I find that unacceptable but I lived with it. My cobbler was really good, two scoops of blackberry...
U just sometimes dig the comfort food fix at these joints but this one on Transit in Buffalo was not good...mashed potato's cold, broccoli rice casserole day old, meatloaf dry.. sorry won't return.read full review »
