okra is best item on menu: not fried hard yet thoroughly done; carrots were exceptionally tasty. Country Fried Steak was much better several years ago. Coarse Ground Grits were average. No pepper in them. I fix better grits even being raised a Yankee on oatmeal and farina 😊. Prices were agreeable.
Country Vegetable Plate is always a favorite that hits the spot. I would gladly give five stars, but they don't offer an option to request the chow-chow or onions that usually comes with the pinto beans at the restaurant. I miss not having those condiments!
Biscuits n' Gravy with Bacon or Sausage Mini Chocolate Chip Pancakes Hashbrown Casserole were all a big hit with a family struggling thru the seasonal bug!!
Old Timer's Breakfast is always a good pick, but I do wish that my side of hash brown casserole had been a little more substantial (also there was a third slice of bacon in the order, but my granddaughter snatched it away before I snapped the photo).
Asked for crispy bacon and it wasn't but rest of food was good
chocolate fudge cake was flattened and crumbled inside container.
Broccoli Cheddar chicken was tender and tasty ! My sides were nice portioned . The jam and preserves were a nice treat !
