The service is terrible and the portions are beyond small (see pic). I had to wait as many employees walked by, but no one spoke or acknowledged me. When I finally got seated and ordered, I had to ask for my drink after 8 minutes. When I received my food, it was the smallest portion I have ever seen. I sent my bf to pick up a togo order for me and him. Most of the food was pretty good however the biscuits were hard and burnt. And the strawberry french toast "bake" was just a hard, burnt, dry, refrigerator-cold, lump of sweet bread smashed together with some strawberry's sprinkled around it and a smear of cheese cake filling on one side. I hadn't been to a Cracker Barrel since I was a kid. After hearing so many people talk about it, my husband and I decided to give it a try. We went right around 11:00 am so they had just started serving lunch and breakfast is all day. After browsing each menu and having difficulty deciding, I opted for lunch while my husband ordered breakfast. He got the country boy breakfast with sirloin tips. We stopped in on our way back from TN, the wait was only half an hour while they were packed and once we were sat everything was very quick and efficient. Our server was Colton, he was great and very attentive :) Also, try the pancake iced latte. It’s delicious
This Cracker Barrel is amazing. The waitress was super kind, took her time with us and got our food out in very little time. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I loved the small bottles of syrup that you were able to take home if not finished. The French toast was sooo good. I would definitely come back!
