Lemon pepper grilled trout was over cooked therefore it was dry and shrimp were fried entirely too hard. I am staying at a hotel that is literally 1 minute away from Cracker Barrel, no reason for my food to not have come to me hot, it wasn't even warm, lukewarm at most. I've eaten here before a few times. I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied!
the sweet n smoky tenders were not great at all. weird texture. the french were definitely sitting up. the peach cobbler was horrible. i do not recommend those items specifically.
All food was not hot- warm to cold. Skimpy piece of meatloaf food was not appetizing at all. I expected more quality from Cracker Barrel and I will never order from Cracker Barrel again.
The desserts were terrible. Peach cobbler was a can of peach pie filling, topped with a sugary cracker. Vanilla ice cream was not even vanilla bean as pictured, and only came with about a tablespoon size. Cobbler was not even warm. The chocolate cake was dry, crumbly and had rough edges. Very displeased.
First, the $23.39 fresh fruit was a single serving cup size. Second, the chicken pot pie was 2/3 the size of my last order. Lastly, my request to bag the turnips separately due to them always leaking on the other items into the bottom of the bag was not followed. portion size was extremely small, no jelly was given for biscuits and the tender had no sweet and spicy sauce on them.
chicken was to hard and the peaches had a bad taste to them but the bread was good.
food was bland, no taste, bacon was not crispy as ordered, and was not cooked even well, sausage patties were red inside..undercooked..could not eat sausage or bacon, grits were runny and inedible, eggs were so bland and all the food was cold including biscuits..all inedible..total waste of money
