I love Cracker Barrel but this was terrible. Not at all what I'm used to when I've dined in. Maybe it's the location it came from I don't know. The dumplings were so mush they were practically non existent and CB dumplings are one of my absolute favorite things normally. The green beans had absolutely no flavor which is also not the norm. Hashbrown casserole just tasted like burned oven. I've never had food from Cracker Barrel that tasted bad before now. Totally turned me off from there.
I have gotten tis before always good till this time the chicken was old and cold, like it had sat around for a dau or so. then ordered saw-mill gravy on my mashed potatoes got beef gravy instead. honestly who wants beef gravy with chicken. don't order here unless you can check the.order first.
Didn't get the Chicken n' Dumplins I ordered, instead got grilled chicken that tasted like horse meat, mac and cheese that tasted like they had it leftover from thanksgiving, and mashed potatoes with gravy that was only passable at best. Waited an hour for nothing.
The meat loaf was dried out and burned and they used ketchup or red sauce to cover it up so it didn't look like it This is about the third time in a row that Cracker Barrel has sent me this type of meat loaf and we will not be ordering it ever again
Spoonful of eggs. Momma's French Toast Breakfast® had a teaspoon of eggs and the French toast was hard.
I paid extra for cheese on the biscuit benny, no cheese :( and the fried apples should have been in a separate container bc the juice ran into my Benny and tasted like fried apples :(
ham was tasteless and a spongy texture. A bummer as the Momma's French Toast Breakfast® was good.
Steak was not fully cooked, ordered well done but delivered medium rare, and was extremely tough.:(New York Strip Steak
Shrimp and okra was over and hard. Very disappointing
