Stop in with a friend quite often for breakfast or lunch. Bring my service dog who is well received by everyone. The Wonderful staff that takes care of us , is Fantastic. We Love the way they go that extra mile to make sure everything is right. Love the atmosphere too, can’t stop looking at all the memorabilia about the place. And on cooler days a Fire in the fireplace. It’s our favorite go to place to eat, spend time and make memories. Will always be back.
A Tuesday morning, the place was almost empty. Yet it took over 30 minutes to get us some eggs, pancakes, biscuits, etc. No steaks, nothing complicated. If things were slamming on and SEC championship Saturday and the place was packed, I could imagine taking that long, but this was a bit absurd. Our server wasn't very proactive on the front side to let us know it was going to be slow, or next, etc. But when it did come she recognized the delay. Host with Redhair, two servers with one blue and the other white hair. Great spirit of supporting our nations Red White and Blue colors (planned or not 🤔) My wife and I shared a Shepherds pie. This was awesome. I usually do not like shepherds pie because it is too soupy, and everything is mushy. Joanna, Stephanie and Joseph are so amazing at this location! Always taking care of us and the best service even when they are short staffed. Joseph should have been the manager here forever ago! He goes above and beyond to take care of customers! I have seen him come out and help deliver food, correct issues for agitated customers and never lose a smile! I wish i owned a cracker barrel so I could steal him away!
It was definitely the worst service we've ever had at any Cracker Barrel. The waitress we had was really struggling to wait on the tables she had. Thankfully for her it was around 4:00 and not real busy. It took around 45 minutes to get our meal. My wife had onion pettles for an appetizer and they were brought out after our meal.
