Well done on the Hamburger Steak does NOT mean BURNT!! Pinto beans scorched and mash potatoes DRY!! With absolutely no flavor.. I know the economy is Suffering but the shortage on the portions is SAD! . We ordered two plates and we are disappointed in both plates! We have never received such plates before from Cracker Barrel.., it's a huge disappointment. A wasted $42 !! Smh!!
Usually the chicken breast has a nice battered crust & is very moist. This time the chicken breast was tough & dry.
We didnt get all of the order. One plate was suppose to have turnip greens, hashbrown cass, chicken noodle aoup, and fruit. We didnt get soup or fruit and it was for my daughter in the hospital. The plates were running into the baggSideways
Salas was missing dressing. Mac and cheese was covered in a layer of burnt black.
The fruit always came in a metal pan, and this time in a normal container the size the food came in very disappointed in the size for the price of almost $30!
Was supposed to be two meat & biscuits with a side. There was only one biscuit and the bacon was stringy with lots of fat undercooked. Do not recommend.
Mashed Potatoes were brown and burned. Dumplings had white residue on them, and they left out the gravy for the country fried steak. They've forgotten the gravy on about 3 orders in a row. I'm done with this store, they obviously don't care about what they send out the door.
Hamburger Steak was more than well done. I ordered med. well. Onions were wilted and the gravy was missing as well as the bread. The mashed potatos were almost rubbery the gravy was dried out and too salty. The corn was like chewing pieces of rubber. Everything seemed like it had been under a heat lamp for many many hours.
How do you send someone pancakes with no syrup...... come on now. Also, loaded hashbrowns just have grease, cheese, and bacon fat on them. The only good thing was the eggs and country ham...
