the chicken is over cooked to dark brown hard supposed to be lighter then this
Sorry to say I've been to Cracker Barrel many times that's the reason I choose. It always gets five star food, but whoever was on duty for watching food today must have missed this. The chicken fried chicken was burned an almost blackish on the skin made the chicken, not as tender. The cornbread was burned. Also I'm used to seeing beautiful corn muffins, golden brown and these were brownish black even open sorry. I doordashed two entrees and a side of biscuits. Multiple things were left out and the side of okra we received only had 7 pieces in it. The mashed potatoes were hard as a rock and there was no gravy on them. The chicken was tough and cold. We will not be using this store again.
yes my eggs are hard cooked I ordered over medium that mean yellow runny my food cold an dry up had reheat it I'm missing my apples an there were no fork spoon in my order cracker barrel used be better then this
the New York Strip Steak was bland with a good bit of Fat and the Meatloaf was hard for some reason.
They need better forks and knives to cut the steaks. Only got through half of both steaks before we got tired of trying to cut them with the flimsy knives and forks. The flavor of the steaks was good though. The mashed potatoes would have been great had the gravy not had so much pepper I couldn't eat them.
Grilled Chicken Tenders burnt to a crisp.
I ordered the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake to take to a get together and while it was delicious, it was literally cut into individual pieces and dumped upside down in a to go container. The presentation was very disappointing.
The food is always good, but sometimes they leave off ingredients. We ordered the Steak n' Egg Hashbrown Casserole and it came without the fried onions, tomatoes, and green onions. This has happened a couple of times now.
