I've had two mouth guards made before I came to this office. I was looking for a specialist and I found one. Dr Patel's treatment process and professionalism by far surpasses any other office I've been to before. You will not be disappointed. They basically do a lot of prep work up front and get it right the first time. They also build in a lot of follow ups to ensure your satisfaction. I don't know any other office that does this. Very knowledgeable and friendly!
I have TMJ and sleep apnea and Dr Patel made me an oral appliance that treats them both. When I started seeing him my TMJ was painful with a popping and cracking jaw when I chewed and I could only open my mouth about one inch or less. I was cutting all my food in 1/4 pieces and could eat nothing hard. Today I have a 4 finger opening and can eat popcorn, nuts, etc in moderation with no pain.
