It took me awhile to write this review but I think it’s finally time. Credit Union of Southern California on the front end is GREAT! They have very great service & are always ready to help out. But what I’ve learned in the past few months is on the back end it’s another story. I never thought a credit union especially this one that raves about member service would be so different on the back end. I called and they gave me a rate on the phone then when i gave my info the number changes , now you think my credit score was bad? You are wrong my credit score is 815 so issue is them issue is not me. They are liars . Go and do business with people who are honest and save your time. Thank you.
BE AWARE OF CUNA DEBT PROTECT When I refinance my car, I noticed that my car balance was increasing $25 per month, which I found it shocking since I never heard that term in the refinancing agreements, turns out that it is an extra insurance that if a credit user from the car passes away, they pay the car as well. My car was not very expensive, so I did not find it necessary. If you don't want to be charged $25 extra, be aware of the cuna debt protect in your account statements. Why have 5 teller stalls and have only 1 teller. Bank is empty with only 1 other person here. Yet I'm still waiting 15+ minutes. This bank is getting worse by the year. The old bank on concert had great customer service and tellers.
Worst ever customer service...i literally called 4 times before coming and they said walk ins are welcome till 4:30. I was there at 4:10 and the lady over there told us they can't serve us. We have to make an appointment. Whats the point of telling on phone that walk ins are welcome. We drove 45 mins to be there just for them to tell us that we have to come back.. Save your time and don't trust them
