We are a 5th generation, family-owned company. The Crowther family originated in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to America by way of Ellis Island to settle in Joliet, Illinois, where Alexander Crowther and Thomas H Crowther found lots of work. Thomas started Crowther Roofing Company in 1955. Lee J Crowther joined his Dad in the business shortly afterward.
