A worthy drive from downtown. It may take true texan to guide you through this menu. I'd usually be suspect of mixing cuisines but this one works - grill focused and damn good. The steak holds up as does the mexican options. One of the best quesos we've had! Love the warm tortillas upon arrival. Put the onion strings on your fajita! Bam! Again, nothing to complain about so all 5 stars a go!
Complimentary homemade tortillas were out of this world. Ambiance was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
Food was outstanding! Sat in the bar area and had good service. Could use some additional local craft beers on tap but otherwise everything you could expect. Enjoyed the burger and chop steak after being surprised with warm homemade tortillas as a starter. And can I say... NO VALET!!! This might be my favorite part! So frustrating to tip or pay a valet for them to park your car 10 foot away from the door. I hope they keep the valet scam away!
Culpepper cattle knows what they're doing. The location isn't in the most well known area but that adds to it being a hidden gem. The restaurant is very large with outdoor patios. Their happy hour is also 10/10. $7 cocktails and apps from 4-6 will have you wanting to try everything. Our waitress was also very attentive and had great recommendations considering we couldn't decide what to get. Can't wait to go back to try more menu items!
Food was good and prices were reasonable. Plenty of space and the music wasn't too loud. Great patio when the weather is cooler. Service was friendly and accommodating.
Had a really great time at this place. Saw that it had some great reviews. I liked the ambiance. It's very country western. They show westerns on the TV and play good country music. Started out with the calamari which the calamari was pretty normal, but the sauce was amazing that you dip it in. I highly recommend that. I had bean and cheese nachos which I really don't recommend but if you do get them, make sure to ask for them to be extra crispy. My husband had the fajitas and I tried the beef and oh my gosh that beef fajita... read more
Passing through on our way back home to Austin. This place will not disappoint you! Beautiful space, the sweetest server (Leo). The food is amazing, we had a ribeye, filet, cowboy potatoes, green beans, Cesar salad and wedge salad croutons and dressing were soooo tasty!!! I will definitely come back, because not a lot of places hit all the checkmarks! This one does!
After ages I had a 10 out of 10 experience! Just so happens to be my last steak before giving up beef. I went to celebrate my birthday with two best friends. We were greeted and treated by a legend, Jesus, who gave us the best order suggestions combined with the friendliest service. From the jalapeño cheddar sausage and the finest cuts of meat to the scrumptious sides and delicious desserts, couldn't have asked for a better time!
The service was very solid and the ambiance is great. The outdoor seating seems fantastic for the cooler months. They are still relatively new to Deep Ellum so they are trying to find themselves. Wide variety of food on the menu from tex mex to burgers & steaks. Tortillas with butter to start and a pitcher of margaritas!? Nice touch. Will be returning in a few months once they start getting busier to see what it turns into!
