I went to Culpepper Cattle Company last night with a friend before a comedy show at Dallas Comedy House, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the prices or the reputation. We were seated inside at a small two-top that was actually a metal patio table covered with a tablecloth. It wobbled constantly and felt out of place for a steakhouse charging premium prices. 1. Dirty martinis and avocado margarita and espresso martini were wonderful. The $24 muchaco margarita was not worth the price at all. 2. We got the 24 oz porterhouse and it really didn't have flavor just a slab of butter on it, or would have been better with a flavored butter or some salt. Was really bland. 3. Service was great and place is very cool ambiance!

Eh. Pretty mid all around. We stumbled into this place for lunch and got the Friday lunch fajitas special. We would have been pretty upset if we had paid pull price for what we got. The proteins were cooked well, but the seasoning was where it falls off... They tasted... plain? The fajitas at Pappasitos has a distinctive sweetness from the pineapple and soy marinade. I really wanted to love Culpepper Cattle so I gave it two tries. Both times I got steak and ordered medium well. The first time it was extra rare, the second time it was literally black, charred and burnt. The service was extraaaa slow both times and the restaurant wasn't busy either of the times so that bummed me out too. Giving two stars because the location is super cute and they had drinks that I would give 6/10 stars.

Ordered a lunch 6 oz. Sirloin Steak off the menu priced at $20.85. Got the check and charged me $23.85. Told me they had no control over the prices..in all my 76 years of life never heard of such a thing. Lost my business!.

Food wasn't that great. Service was really good. We ordered the flautas and they fell short of the crispy deep fried expectations!
