Eh. Pretty mid all around. We stumbled into this place for lunch and got the Friday lunch fajitas special. We would have been pretty upset if we had paid pull price for what we got. The proteins were cooked well, but the seasoning was where it falls off... They tasted... plain? The fajitas at Pappasitos has a distinctive sweetness from the pineapple and soy marinade. The fajitas at Lupe has a distinctive lime flavor. The fajitas here just tasted like... grilled and unseasoned beef. The tortillas, both corn and flour, were... read more

I really wanted to love Culpepper Cattle so I gave it two tries. Both times I got steak and ordered medium well. The first time it was extra rare, the second time it was literally black, charred and burnt. The service was extraaaa slow both times and the restaurant wasn't busy either of the times so that bummed me out too. Giving two stars because the location is super cute and they had drinks that I would give 6/10 stars.

Business response:

We are so sorry to hear about you experience with us! None of those things are ever up to our standards! I would really appreciate if you would be willing to reach out to discuss your visit further, and explore how we could make this right with you! Give me a call any time! (214)646-3085. I look forward to hearing from you and earning the other 3 stars from you. -Stephanie Richelle Hunt Assistant General Manager

Ordered a lunch 6 oz. Sirloin Steak off the menu priced at $20.85. Got the check and charged me $23.85. Told me they had no control over the prices..in all my 76 years of life never heard of such a thing. Lost my business!.

Business response:

Thank you for the feedback, Al, and I am deeply apologetic that you received this feedback at the Dallas location of Culpepper Cattle Co. I can't imagine that any of my staff would reply in this way, and I will certainly follow up with my entire staff in order to curb this type of reply. I would also like to get some more specific feedback from you if you are willing to share. If you could please email me at sspence@unco.com, I would love to dig deeper into the heart of this matter and stop it from happening again, and to... read more

Food wasn't that great. Service was really good. We ordered the flautas and they fell short of the crispy deep fried expectations!

Business response:

LD, thank you for your feedback and we apologize that the Flautas did not meet your expectations. We have never received negative feedback on the Flautas and I hate that you did not feel they were up to our standards. We hope that you give us another chance to meet your expectations, and please feel free to reach out to me directly at sspence@unco.com, and I would live the opportunity to make it up to you. -Steven Spence General Manager

Loved this restaurant the first time I dined there, that was a year ago. Since then, I been back twice in a one year period and the quality of the food has good down with each experience. Also the drink prices are a little outrageous- $19 for an old fashioned with Maker's and $20 for a martini. I won't be going back.

Business response:

Keven, thank you for your honest feedback and I hate to hear that you feel the food quality is not as good as it was on your first visit. I would love to know more details regarding what items you feel have gone down in quality. If you would like to take the time, feel free to email me directly at sspence@unco.com so we can make any necessary corrections. -Steven Spence General Manager

They stole a local Texan artists work on their designs. Please compensate WildKind for their work, rather than using dismissive language. APPALLING you can't support local so you steal local.

They stole art from a local artist for their branding and did not compensate her and blew her off. If you eat here you should walk out on the tab because the owners are ok with stealing apparently.
