Very nice facility. Very comfortable and homey. I liked the cottage small groups. The staff were all friendly and accomadating. The lunch was very good in a nice small setting.

Dalton Senior Living has changed ownership 3 times since July. A few of the consistent staff members are great. However, they could improve on consistency of staff, meds and ownership.

Needed a place for Mom. Settled on Pacifica at Dalton Garden, North Idaho. They are understaffed, lack moral, and not fair with the money. They billed autopay for services not performed and now it is a legal battle getting them to reimburse $800!

Don't expect a refund if they owe you one. Despite the fact that they acknowledged that they owed us $[removed] upon checkout, they have been derelict in their duty to provide the refund and have completely ignored us. They do not answer our calls. They do not respond to Better Business Bureau inquiries or inquires from the Idaho attorney general. As far as the care they provided while our loved one was there, they would call us when there was an issue rather than handle it themselves.

My dad was a resident there. He was blind so NO ACTIVITIES for him. Very little effort to get him involved. Lots of turn over at this place. Communication is not very good. I had dry erase boards all over the room to ensure the staff knew what to do. Food is so/so. Director is MIA. Does not return phone calls or E-mails. They still owe me for an overcharge. Been waiting 2.5 weeks, I have heard "the check is in the mail" EVERY DAY. I would not recommend the place.

My loved one was only here for 6 days and we ended up moving her out because the staff was incompetent. We were expecting the staff to be able to take care of her and it was just a mess. One night, there was only 1 nurse running two or three buildings. It’s also really noisy at night and some of the residents even smoke inside. There was even one nurse who had the flu and then continued to come into the room to help my loved one. I would not recommend this facility to other families.

They are under staffed a majority of the time. The staff that does stay are over worked. If they can't treat their employees right how do you think they will treat your family!? We had to move mom out. The food was undesirable.
