I bought a Tacoma it was used as one of their executive fleet vehicles. (Which they never somd this truck)I discovered later that a portable speaker that was an upgrade was missing. The lady said because I bought the truck as is. In her words that even though I was not informed about the speaker. It’s all on me to replace it. So I said if spare tire is missing, gas cap or brake pads. Because it’s as is. In responsible and got a yes. Do not think I would or will recommend buying a vehicle here .
Business response:
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry for the frustration regarding the missing speaker and how the “as-is” policy was explained. We understand how disappointing it can be to discover something you expected was not included, and how that affected your confidence in your purchase. We appreciate your feedback and will review how we communicate vehicle features and upgrades to ensure future customers have a clear understanding before buying. Sooo sad. We have bought several Toyota’s but known lately from Danville we like to buy local we went in and was trying to work out a plan to buy a truck. After less then a half hour we left no truck no manager tried to work with us or help us so we went to another Toyota dealership and got a great deal the payments we want
Do not be fooled in to buying the bumper to bumper warranty. The lady told us it covered everything even if the kids broke something on our van but it was just a lie to get more money from us. The seat in the back has a handle and i pulled up on it and it broke off in my hand and now we can't use the full back of the van like normal. They would only replace it if we forked out another 450$ on top of the couple thousand dollars we did for the full warranty. Just a heads up don't fall for their scam.
