If you're craving bold, spicy flavors and crispy fried chicken, Dave's Hot Chicken delivers -- literally and figuratively. What I Tried: I ordered the 2-tender combo (medium heat), which comes with two massive tenders, crinkle-cut fries, pickles, a slice of white bread, and Dave's signature sauce. The chicken was juicy, perfectly fried, and packed with flavor. Even the "medium" heat had a noticeable kick -- enough to clear your sinuses but still enjoyable.
It was definitely our first time eating at Dave's Hot Chicken on Madison and Hazel ave in Sacramento. We ordered two meals (one being the slider combo and the second being the flight of chicken nuggets) and 6 sides of ranch ($1.50 each) which had a total cost of about $56.
