Every single time i come here,the quality of food is getting worse and worse. Today i ordered a medium sliders. Basically they were sweet instead of spicy and not seasoned at all. Fries were so bad and not seasoned i could not even eat it. Idk I hope they'll fix this issues,because i really do like Dave's Hot Chicken.
ZERO STARS! placed order thru doordash at around 5pm for 2 loaded fries...food was supposed to arrive between 6pm and 6:30pm. Never did. We tried calling and texting doordash driver he texted back saying he had a flat. We canceled the original order. Got frefund back placed another order different items....sliders instead. Absolutely the worst customer service and ordering experience I have seen and I have traveled world wide. I should have been loyal to what I know is true and not ventured out. Dave's hot chicken and Costa Mesa is no longer a location. I will ever revisit thanks to the lack of accountability and training of the staff that runs this place.
That had to be the absolute worst chicken sandwich I have ever had. The breast was minimal, the breading dry and plenty. It was soooo salty, not edible. The fries, were awful and extremely salty. I did not want cole slaw but, you guessed it, it was all over the bun. Had it not been door dash, I would have refused it. Gruel fit for no one. Too bad because I wanted to help out a local. Buyer beware.
I absolutely loved Dave's 6 or 7 years ago. This particular location was always packed and parking was impossible. These days the place is empty and you can park anywhere (except in the two spots for the crazy water guys place). But, the bigger picture is this is the result of a wonderful independent business that started in a parking lot that got bought by a corporation and now is just another place. The fries were a major letdown. For $3.30, I expected more than just a handful. It felt like a sample, not a side.
These guys ALWAYS mess up the order!!! The last few times I've ordered specific things i want in the sandwich, it's always either not in it or completely different! This time I ordered through doordash. I had 2 orders with Diet with each order but they just put one bottle. Not to mention all the sandwiches were messed up. One had coleslaw and the other didn't at all! Enough is enough! They need to have a legit phone number and have someone pick up the damn phone at the restaurant!
seriously?frozen chicken tenders with Cajun powder according to taste?and that's it except for fountain sodas and cheap fries.If that's your taste for$20+ meal then ENJOY!!!
