I was in Los Ángeles and I wanted to know what the hype was about so we stopped in for dinner. It was thankfully not packed when we went in so we were able to order and get our food pretty quickly. We ordered the Dave's #3 & 4 with a side of Mac and cheese. I will say the Mac and cheese was probably our favorite. I will also say that the sliders were better and more flavorful than just the tenders. I love their simple menu. Took awhile to get our meal and the seasonings on the chicken are very different from other hot chicken I have. I've definitely had better hot chicken. However their spicy is very spicy if youre looking for a good kick.

This might be the best hot chicken sandwich that I've had -- the sliders are the perfect size with flavorful, juicy chicken breast, kale coleslaw, pickles, and a yummy sauce. I tried the Dave's #2 ($13.99), which comes with 2 sliders and nice crinkle cut fries. The HOT level spiciness was a good amount for me to make the slider still enjoyable. Only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because it was soooo spicy! Not their fault. Service was excellent and overall good. Just be aware that it is spicy!!!!
