TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's Hot Chicken Is Elite! Hands down one of the best chicken spots I've been to. The tenders were juicy, perfectly spiced, and had that crispy coating you dream about. The sliders? Unreal. The sides? On point. But what really made the experience stand out was the service -- shoutout to Ellio for being super friendly and making sure everything was perfect. You can tell he cares about the customer experience. Definitely coming back soon.

The sandwich was good the service was friendly and everything was really fresh. The reason for the three star review = my table was really sticky, from honey or something and they only give you three little napkins so I had to go to the counter and request more. The Hot is really really Hot!! They are not joking about hot. I have mixed feelings, it was very fresh and the staff was great but a sticky table and 3 napkins turn me off. I will try them again

The thing that sticks out most about this place is the customer service! All of the ladies working at the front counter were very polite and courteous. My order was taken promptly and everything was exactly how I asked, both the fries and the chicken is crunchy, and I ordered the medium heat which is perfect.
Dave's Hot Chicken serves crispy, spicy tenders with bold flavor and great heat levels.Rodney was very helpful

This was our first time eating here. We liked it and plan to go back. We each got a slider. The hubby got a side order of fries and I got the coleslaw. The chicken and fries were nice a crispy. Service was slow but there were several large to-go orders that we assume delayed the service. It was worth it though.

Pretty good only thing is certain foods on menu give you small portions and it cost the same as canes if not more
They have a very limited menu. Fried foods only. The spice is good. But for two tenders and fries it's $12- $13 if you want a slider.. A competitor of theirs also has hot chicken tenders with 3 for $10 and a side. And those places have more options for salads, grilled chicken, etc. no beer either. So decent but no frills and high priced.
