TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Zero complaints. Placed the order online and it was hot and ready upon arrival. Great service.
I was having a hard time deciding between this place and one other. Because the other place looked harder to get in and out of I chose Dave's. Fate would have it in my favor in this choice. I've tried "hot chicken" or "Nashville chicken", or call it whatever you want. This is hands down leagues above every other place I've had it. The bird was crispy and tasty. It was an average chicken tender place. Nothing crazy delicious I would be craving or going out of the way for. Was pleasantly surprised by the heat factor on the "reaper" but it was nowhere near as spicy as I expected for the name. I enjoyed the kale slaw on the sliders, too. The tenders are huge, more like cut breasts, I assume based on the size. Price is a bit steep (~$5 per tender) but it is quality (halal) meat and cooked fresh. Service was fantastic! The guy at the counter (who I think may have been the manager bc he wandered around checking on tables later--he was a tall bald guy) was super friendly and welcoming and made our visit extra nice. The fries with cheese were really good too! We will definitely be back.
Amazing checkin! Perfect heat on the medium level. Staff was great and the interior was awesome!!
Customer service was great but food mediocre. I'm not a fan of deep fried chicken breast without the bone. 3 stars because I would recommend to try and it's a nice setting for fun lunch.

Great food, always on time, the service is spectacular due to the front staff always being attentive to my order, the ambiance is very well lit due to the way their store is set up. Very impressed by this place and I love how their chicken comes out!
