Been hearing this place get so much hype for forever now, and I finally got to try it. It's aight tho lol, nothing stands out to me. I will say, the fries are seasoned WELL, and they pretty crispy. I got the chicken slider, and the chicken was plump. The slider itself was good overall but seemed like it was missing something. I could've gone higher than a medium for the spice level to get that kick. The workers were really friendly and welcoming. Inside is spacious.

Dave's Hot Chicken 10/10 would recommend! We liked it so much we went 2 weeks in a row. It's definitely a place we'll add to the regular rotation when we're in Houston. The chicken is soooo good, the spices & the crisp is chefs kiss. I'm a sauce girl, the sauce is good but by itself could be better. But the chickens so good it makes up for the lack of flavor in the sauce. VERY friendly staff, you're greeted as soon as you walk in. Clean facility, including the bathroom. I came from California hoping that they had a Dave's hot chicken here in Houston, and boy was I in for a treat. The cashier was full of energy and enthusiasm that we had a great time even ordering (Which sounds dumb but it was fun) The guy was hilarious. The place could be a bit cleaner but it was still very nice, I would recommend, the food was so good I wanted to go back the next morning.
