Let's just say drive a few more miles to Portland to get tasting canes. The chicken strips and fries have no flavor no seasoning at all. Very disappointed.

This place makes me want to jump off of a bridge when I look a the prices. The cocks also taste also taste really weird for how expensive they are. The food took forever to get to us. So in my opinion you should not come here unless you have 200 dollars to spend.

First time trying, I ordered 'MILD' and it was NOT mild! WASTE of money and food because we could not eat it! The dog wouldn't eat it either.

Good chicken. Not enough sauce. There wasnt enough sauce included even when they were serving full sized condiment cups. Now they have "upgraded" to half portion sauce cups and they only fill them half way. Previously i would have given a 4 star review and complained about not having enough sauce. Now that they've downgraded to an even smaller portion, i'm giving them a 2. To the owners: why go cheap here? You make good chicken but you are going to skimp on the condiments?

Thursday 9/21/23 I always wanted to try Dave's hot chicken due to the amount popularity and hype I saw around it but to my knowledge it was only a California franchise. Luckily, they've expanded to Portland and there was a spot close by to where I was staying. I got 1 Dave's medium slider with cheese & cheese fries, 1 regular Dave's medium slider & fries, an Oreo top loaded shake, and Mac n cheese. Wow. Blown away about how over hyped this spot is. Finally got to try..and won't be back. Got a couple tenders- one hot, one medium-both disgusting. The seasoning is ridiculously salty and grainy with a slightly sweet curry? flavor. Not hot. Bizarre. I didn't even want to lick my fingers because I couldn't stand the seasoning. Shame because the actual chicken inside was good. Staff was nice. Mac and cheese mediocre. Fries were good.

I was so excited to try this establishment for months. I finally went tonight and ordered a #3 with extra pickles and kale slaw. The wait was a while but it's Friday night and dinner time so I didn't mind at all. I got my order and it was wrong. I came back to get my correct order and the worker was clearly annoyed.. no apology or anything. I watched the cook just throw my correct order together sloppily fast and with no care.
