Its really a gross food. After eating their food my mouth were burning though I ordered medium spicy. I guessed they used some very cheap spices and fry it before processing properly.

Hello, I recently had the opportunity to try out Daves's hot chicken. My friend and I wanted to go there ,since it first opened its doors months ago, it was pretty busy their first months and the traffic downtown was not helping! By far the most overpriced, over spiced chicken sandwich I've ever attempted to eat. I say attempted because after two bites I ended up throwing it away. So did the two other people that I was eating with that night. The selection is very limited so unless you Wendell over salty, over spiced dried out fried chicken I try another place. Sorry but it's the truth!

Food is ok. Had the hot slider, kale slaw & mac n cheese. Decent but not great. However the service is terrible. Super slow and with a bad attitude. Will not come back.

Was excited to try Dave's hot chicken. Ordered online and picked up. After inspecting the order when arriving home, It appeared that the order was inaccurate and missing some items. Tried several times to call the restaurant to adjust for the missing items. When the restaurant did pick up the phone, nobody spoke or responded and the phone was seemingly just lying off the hook because all that I could hear was restaurant background noise. I was disappointed. Chicken was coated in a seasoning that felt overpowering and much too salty. The chicken was juicy which was a plus. I was bummed because I thought that I would find another good chicken place to compete with Joella's, but they remain my favorite for hot chicken in the city.

I had been so excited to try this place. Advertising is literally on par and was so hyped. It unfortunately did not live up to the hype. The workers were rude (especially the older gentleman) and the food did not taste good. We were there about 8 pm for context.

Yeah So Take It From A Black Person Who Knows How To Cook & Who Tries New Foods ALL THE TIME Just Because. The Menu only Had Three Options Truthfully Two Tinders with a Side, Two Sliders w. a Side, or A Slide and Tender w. a Side.... Wanted to try this place since we heard good things. I was not too impressed...chicken had good flavor, even for the Lite Mild spice level I chose. But the mac n cheese was too runny. The menu selection is also pretty limited.
