Great service, very attentive staff and the chicken is fantastic. I very much enjoyed the kale slaw and found it to be really fresh. An enjoyable visit with the family.
Dave's Hot Chicken is at LEAST as good as any of those listed in Yelp's "Best Chicken" list. From the time one walks into the brightly decorated restaurant, it borders on sensory overload - from the bright colors, the paintings, the noise of the crowd (it's nearly always crowded), the fragrance of the food, it's a delightful carnival atmosphere. This isn't my first time to this Dave's hot chicken spot, but it is my first review. I'll say it's def CARB city with how much bread you get with your food. We ordered the 2 slider combo with fries and an extra tender on the side to share. We got lucky and they gave us an extra tenders on top of the extra one I ordered, so that's a WIN! Haha. Actual real breast meat. The meat also wasn't dry or over cooked. The sauce is good. The bun was soft. The reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because I thought the price was a little high for a smallish sandwich.

The chicken and fries were so good! We went and picked it up and it was done at the time they said it would be done. The service was great. The o Lu thing I would say is it is a little pricey but you do get a lot of food so I guess that could make up for it lol

I love going to Dave's hot chicken, not only does it satisfy my cravings but the crew members ensure the best service. I usually go to the Portland location but I was closer to the Clackamas location so I decided to go ahead and stop there.
