TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Had the Dave’s #2 with Reaper sauce. I guess I can handle heat pretty well cause I didn’t need anything to drink for the first sandwich. The second one got me a bit but overall I didn’t really see the need for a me to sign a liability waiver. The flavor was really good… usually when restaurants try to go super hot the sauce ends having a off chemical taste but these were spot on. Pricing is more of a California mindset as the meal set me back 20$ but overall I definitely recommend checking the place out.
Great spicy chicken loved it. The price is on the higher side. They have a limited menu. This is good no major confusion. The spice levels are good. So be careful when you choose a higher spice level.
Clean tables, clean bathrooms, nice workers. Their ice for the sodas is more like sonic ice but bigger and the carbonation to syrup ratio is perfect. The food was delicious, and they don't charge for extra sauce. Score! Fries are perfectly seasoned. My son added the app and immediately was offered a free slider. He went up to the register to redeem it but there was an issue. The manager came out and honored it anyway. I prefer this location over the downtown one. Will definitely be back.
The chicken was ok. I definitely preferred the slider rather than eating the tender by itself. The seasoned fries and pickles were excellent! I was disappointed to find that drinks don't come with the combos. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff were polite. I probably wouldn't drive 30 minutes to eat here again.
First time eating at this location. The chicken was juicy and moist. The tenders are larger and not dried out like a lot of other chicken places. I got the HOT and it was just the right amount of heat and flavor. The crinkle cut fries and mac n cheese are really good. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean as was the men's restroom. Only minor complaint is they do not have large cups for drinks.
