TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Chicken is good. Lots of flavor. I think the slider+tender combo is the best value. Staff is friendly.

Loves the crinkle cut french fries and dave sauce. The chicken has its own taste, cant say i can compare to any other chicken to it!

Ever since the Dave's NOT Chicken was released ("Chicken" Sandwich made with battered cauliflower), I have been a frequent customer. The seasoning of the cauliflower and fries compliment the entree. I am also fond of the sauce (similar to Cane's) and slaw that comes on the sandwich. Service is fickle, and at times the seating is a bit packed but I still come back. Overall, a nice option for plant-based consumers who are craving fast food.

My husband was excited to try the Reaper and it did not disappoint! I liked my sandwich, the fries were good but they would be better without the seasoning. Although my husband liked the seasoning. The girls taking our order were super helpful and made good suggestions! Super clean and inviting with comfy seats along the wall.
