TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I had a great experience at Dave's Hot Chicken! The location was convenient and the environment was comfortable and inviting. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my visit. Even the napkins were cool! As someone who loves spicy food, I was excited to try Dave's Hot Chicken. Fortunately there were no idiots when I ate here. Just great food and free shake for dessert after I gave my 1st review. Fantastic potato bread bun. Tasty chicken. Fries a bit over salted, but crisp and tasty. Great music and vibe. Fantastic shake. So thick, you have to really suck to get it out. I'll def be back for more chickening here.
