TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

There's been a few Nashville hot chicken restaurants popping up around Chino Hills lately and this is the newest one. I got the slider with "Hot" seasoning. It was good but not great. The fries were good too. The slider had a small chicken strip and I was disappointed with their portion size.

The chicken is quite good. The tenders are pretty large. They could use a little bit bigger bun would help but overall the food is good. I recommend macaroni and cheese. It's very tasty.

Dave's really hit the fried chicken sandwich craving. The chicken was very crispy, tender, and well seasoned. The slider was tasty; kale slaw, pickles, and Dave's sauce really tied the whole sandwich together. There's a lot of seating inside and it's also so clean. Service was great, the lady taking my order was really nice. Food came out pretty fast.

Food here was great, but the customer service was phenomenal. Rene was so kind. Will definitely come back.
