Zero stars actually. This place knows how to ruin chicken. It made me actually throw up when I got home and I was ill the rest of the night. Go get fried chicken anywhere else.

There was a hair in my food. I would like to speak with a manager there. I was displeased because the food looked goodI wanted it so bad maybe better luck next time

The food was nothing memorable. The service was highly incompetent. They overcharged on us on items, and couldn't do anything about it because the manager was off buying bread; which they ran out of. They also got our orders wrong.

Disappointing. The cashier was nice, but the noise level is so high I had to repeat my order because she couldn't hear me. Our to go order was ready in about five minutes. We had an order of 2 tenders and fries no spice and one order for one tender and one slider mild spice. (we placed and paid for the orders separately.) After living in California for a while, I moved to South Carolina. I was super excited when I heard they were opening up a Dave's here, as I was a big fan of them back in California. I ordered a 10 piece and a large fries. I am not alone on this, but me and the three other people I shared this with all had the same response. The chicken tasted really bad. I don't get the hype. Ordered 10 tenders for $40.44. Fries don't even come with it. So for $4 a tender, it better be pretty special. So here's my summary of my first time trying DHC.... The inside looks like a plain and basic fast food restaurant. Nothing special. The tenders were under seasoned and needed salt. I have never had to salt tenders before... so that was new. Chicken was more sweet than candy. Fries were good so was the sauce. Sweet tea was not the best. The chicken was a bit over seasoned and was unable to finish. Especially for the expensive price (which your meal doesn't come with a drink) it is not worth it.

I'll start by saying the place overall is very nice. The establishment was clean and the workers were friendly. However, I don't think I knew what I was getting. The chicken has a Nashville hot taste, thanks to my daughter for educating me. I was confused by the sweet taste of the chicken. We waited for 10-15 minutes for our food so we knew it was going to be hot. Wrong. Our fries were lukewarm and best and sandwich wasn't much warmer. Been waiting a couple months for these guys to open! Picked up food for 7 of us opening night but we all got terribly sick. Wonderful staff though - they were very polite and working so hard.
