TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I love how it have level options so I can choose the level according to my tongue. I like how juice and fresh the tender is. They also come with cheese sauce and pure honey. Honestly I don't know what is the honey for but I use the honey to eat the bread that comes with the tender.
Decided to check this place out after hearing some friends talk about it. Customer service: great customer service especially from Val and Joy (I think that was their names). Eager to answer any question or make recommendations Food: ordered the #2 which was 2 sliders and fries. Ordered my chicken medium-- great for people who are sensitive to spicy. The chicken was ok, however the price is a bit high for a non drink combo, at $12.99 the or the #1, there are other fast food places that will include a drink for the same price. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Music was very loud so not a location when you can really have a conversation. Probably would not visit again.

I'm from Reno, and we don't have a Dave's Hot Chicken yet, so I thought we'd give it a try since we got some recommendations for it while we were here. We ordered the #2, two sliders and fries and split it between the two of us. Additionally, we ordered the Powerade slushee, and the Strawberry Lemonade slushee. The slushees are the type that have pretty thick ice, so you could drink all the flavoring out before the ice melts, but the flavors were good! Came by Friday night and as soon as I walked in I felt the great vibes and welcoming! Danny helped me out and was very well spoken. Made my order process so much easier and will be coming back!

Solid hot chicken spot. The sliders are good size, two will filler up. The bun, slaw, sauce, and pickles complement the chicken well. There is a heat scale to choose from. Medium heat provides warmth and slight heat, with a light peppery flavor. The crisp on the chicken and fries is perfect. The pickles are good, classic Dave's pickles.
