Waiting for your food was really ridiculously long. I'm pretty sure that having to deal with a crowd is impossible. I waited 25 minutes for my food. I didn't expected this to happen as we were finished shopping at target. Overall everything was okay. They just need to clean the tables a little.

Ate here the other day, line out the door, ordered slider meal and bites... Dave's Port Hueneme is a favorite of mine! But not this Dave's. Line out the door and my fries are COLD? Chicken bites were like someone cut them in half to pass them off as a whole bite? Dudes next to me sent their food back and had to wait forever. Hopefully management of this newer store gets their act together, cause right now they make Dave look bad.

Online orders are ruining the experience for walk in customers. I've been waiting here for over an hour now and my order is not even ready yet. The damn chicken sandwich isn't any better than something you would get at KFC or Popeyes. Their wannabe Cane's sauce tastes like miracle whip with paprika. I would have been better off going to In & Out. I will not be coming back. My review is based solely on the wait time and the sauce. Just a tip to upper management.

This is my second time going to Dave's Hot Chicken, after the first time when I said, I would never return. Because of my review, and I guess the survey I filled out, they sent me a code to be able to visit Dave's Hot Chicken again. I really hesitated, but today I went. not sure if this Dave's being a new location plays a role in this, but it took 45 minutes for my food to come out. the store was not busy at all, and i didn't even order a full meal. i ordered one side tender and a small loaded fry. i have been to atleast a dozen dave's locations across california ever since they were first established, and even when dave's was still just a small food stand, lines would WRAP around the block yet i've never had to wait 45 minutes in that line for my order. not just this, but they are very sti... read more

Very nice & efficient employee running the entire counter by herself. There's 12 people in line! Where's the help for her?? I've been here for 15-20 min easily & no one in site to assist her. Uh-oh, more people just walked in. Looks like they won't get helped for another 30 minutes.

MANAGEMENT this is a PSA This is no fault to the people working that day. I have no idea what happened in the kitchen, but I waited for 30 minutes :,) for a chicken sandwich and fries. And by the time I got my food it was luke warm at best. Management please help the staff out. Bring more people in on the busy days. Because they were backed up.
