Decided to try this place out with my kids to see what the hype is all about. I got here at 11am on a Friday to avoid the long line/ wait, Amy who took my order was very patient, helpful & kind, and the restaurant itself was clean, spacious & all the graffiti inspired artwork looked amazing. New location located in fresh meadows is really adding a spark to the neighborhood! My daughter and I have been waiting for the grand opening but the dates changed. As I told one of the owners it was well worth the wait. We got to go tonight and there was a long line that at first seems intimidating but we were committed. Knew there was a halal Dave's somewhere, just didn't know it was this location. Was pleasantly surprised when confirmed halal. Service is exceptional, the staff are all so friendly & helpful. 3/5 Dave's #1 ($13): 2 chicken tenders, each on a slice of white bread, fries, pickles, sauce 3/5 chicken tenders: these chicken tenders are unlike any I've ever had before. Be prepared for a wait, which honestly isn't surprising given it's a new location. The service, in the other hand, was disappointingly slow - waiting twenty minutes between ordering and food coming out after 40 minutes on line to order felt like a bit much. The chicken itself was okay - nothing special - and be prepared for the texture of a dry rub heat versus a sauce heat which isn't necessarily something I find enjoyable. Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance N/A newly opened so nice layout Chicken is good but a bit too oily (May need to change oil out time to time? Brother said the oil gave him a headache) Got slider and tender (#3 i believe) and mild... next time I go back I'll probably try the medium. Tender comes with a white bread(not toasted) Slider comes with like a potato bread/bun and veggies+pickles. I'll be returning with my wife n kid.

The food was great however since it's new in this location it's extremely full and there are barely any seats. The bread is also a piece of wonder bread, doesn't even look or taste toasted. Therefore I'll give it a 4/5. The food was great and the service is great they get you situated fairly quickly.

The store just opened up so it's a bit packed, but the store ran very well! Lots of workers organizing lines, serving food, and making sure the store stayed clean. Lines were long but moved pretty fast. Lots of teens! The ordering and menu were very simple! They gave a beeping thing when the food was ready. The space was really large with plenty of seating for larger groups! Even tho the store was packed, seats became available pretty quickly. 10/5 for service!!! Came here last night to try Dave's for the first time. The line was out the door even in the snow!!! I got the loaded fries with the chicken hot. I normally enjoy spice but the powder used kept flying to the back of my throat and coating it so that made everything a bit overly spicy for me. The customer service was amazing tho. I've been seeing a lot of buzz about this spot and realized one literally just opened three miles from me! Made the trip in the middle of the snow storm to get my hands on some of these tendies. Walked in with the plan to compare with Raising Cane's since it's basically the same concept, but there's literally no comparison. Dave's wins that competition by miles.
