10/5 for service!!! Came here last night to try Dave's for the first time. The line was out the door even in the snow!!! I got the loaded fries with the chicken hot. I normally enjoy spice but the powder used kept flying to the back of my throat and coating it so that made everything a bit overly spicy for me. The customer service was amazing tho. I've been seeing a lot of buzz about this spot and realized one literally just opened three miles from me! Made the trip in the middle of the snow storm to get my hands on some of these tendies. Walked in with the plan to compare with Raising Cane's since it's basically the same concept, but there's literally no comparison. Dave's wins that competition by miles. Great new location! Staff is friendly and welcoming in! I am so glad I don't have to travel to Brooklyn or the city for fresh Dave's Hot Chicken anymore. Juicy, crispy, and fresh!

Grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken in Fresh Meadow's, line out the door at 12pm, went fast. Staff is very friendly, manager on deck greeting everyone and passing out menus/ answering questions. Small menu, lots of heat choices! Tenders or sliders are your options, they also have a new item, bites. Sides are fries, slaw, or Mac & cheese. Well, its pretty pricey for ok chicken. I spent $80. 10 chicken tenders is $45 and a 40 piece of Dave's bites is $35. For chicken?? That was.. meh. Ok, not amazing, not $80 fantastic. But hey... I spent the money. So, lesson learned.
